About This Showcase
Maisie's is a showcase store. Everything here works the way a real online candy and toy shop would, from browsing and accounts to the cart, checkout, receipts and emails. The only things that don't happen are payments and shipping.
Why it exists
Maisie's was built to show what a complete online store can look like, from the first page a shopper lands on to the email that confirms their order. Feel free to look around, create an account and place a test order.
What works
- Browsing, search and product pages
- Creating an account and saving addresses
- Saving a card for next time (a test card)
- The full checkout, receipts and confirmation emails
- Order history
What doesn't happen
- No real card or bank details are collected. The payment fields are filled in with test details.
- No one is charged
- No orders are packed or shipped
- Products, prices and stock are examples
- Test orders may be cleared out from time to time
Looking for treats like these?
We don't sell anything, but we're happy to point you somewhere that does.
Retro & old-fashioned candy
Local candy shops and specialty retro candy stores often carry rock candy, candy sticks and penny-candy mixes.
Try searching for "nostalgic candy store near me".
Wind-up & classic toys
Independent toy stores and museum gift shops are good places to find tin toys, wind-ups and wooden puzzles.
Look for an independent toy store in your area.
Gift boxes & bundles
Many candy shops will put together a mixed box if you ask, often for less than a ready-made one.
Call ahead and ask about custom boxes.
